RAIDSTONE GRAVEL MAROC: the rally-raid reinvented for gravel

March 10–14, 2027 – Zagora, Morocco

340 km, 3 stages, timed specials and untimed liaisons: from March 10 to 14, 2027, RAIDSTONE GRAVEL MAROC will offer, in the Zagora region, a new racing experience inspired by rally-raid traditions and designed entirely for gravel.

A unique concept: the gravel rally-raid

RAIDSTONE GRAVEL MAROC stands apart from traditional gravel formats by alternating timed special stages, where athletic performance comes fully into play, with untimed liaisons, allowing riders to manage their effort, ride at a different pace and take in the scenery or stop for tea in the villages along the way.

In total, 340 kilometres over 3 stages, through the landscapes of the Zagora region and the Moroccan desert.

Another distinctive feature: RAIDSTONE is raced in teams of two. This is central to the concept, with strategy, solidarity and teamwork mattering just as much as individual performance.

A human-scale adventure in the Moroccan desert

Limited to 50 teams, i.e. 100 participants, this first edition aims to preserve genuine closeness between competitors and the spirit of great adventures.

The experience continues beyond the stages with four nights in camp, for full immersion in the desert and moments of sharing between participants.

Transfers from Marrakech and Ouarzazate, accommodation, catering, GPS tracking and medical assistance are all included, so that participants can focus entirely on their adventure.

Beyond the sporting challenge, RAIDSTONE GRAVEL MAROC brings together sport, adventure, sharing and solidarity through a partnership with Solidarité Enfants des Sables, a charity supporting children and communities in desert regions, chaired by Patrick Bauer, founder of the Marathon des Sables and an iconic figure of great sporting adventures in the desert.
